Profile Information

About Me:
Having been born and bred in the deep South (North London), I started my working life in the heady atmosphere of Whitehall as a very junior civil servant. After commuting into London for five years, I found local work in a Jobcentre before transferring up North in 1983 when my husband Tony got a job with Teesdale District Council.

I confess I knew nothing about County Durham before moving here, but I have since grown to love Teesdale. I have now re-educated our family and friends about the delights of the North East. Being keen walkers, we appreciate the beauty of Teesdale, together with the easy access it provides to so many other wonderful areas including the Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland coast and Scotland. We really are spoilt for choice.

I joined the Agency in 1998 and work part-time in the admin office. Scheduling appointments with our clients and advisors, working on marketing the agency and publicising our various training courses.

I am easily recognised by my 'cockney' accent (obviously twenty years here is too soon to sound local!) so look forward to speaking with you soon.
