Here at Radio Teesdale we are organising a very special fundraising and awareness event and going to get live and interactive with local businesses and the Teesdale community.
On the 27th November 2009 we will be challenging ourselves to broadcast LIVE for a full 24 hours. We have 24 presenters lined up each doing an hour and each show is going to have a community guest who's challenge is to get as many family and friends as possible to listen to their show. The whole aim is to raise awareness and get the local community involved as much as possible.
We are going to get all the local media involved as well, posters, and obviously radio advertising as well as web advertising. It also falls on the Barnard Castle Christmas Light Switch On and we are going to be broadcasting LIVE for 3 hours from the glass box at the bottom of Galgate and getting live interviews with listeners and local people and being part of the community.
